Louis Garneau hires Sakalowsky as global marketing director

DERBY, Vt. (BRAIN) — Louis Garneau USA has named Eric Sakalowsky global marketing director. A cyclist and Nordic skier, Sakalowsky has more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the industry, most recently serving as director of sales and marketing for Todson, distributor of Topeak, OnGuard, Velox and MET brands.

He joins the marketing team, which includes Marie-Andrée Vézina in Canada and Heidi Myers in the U.S.

“We are excited to welcome Eric to the Garneau family, and we believe he will help bring the brand to a new level,” said Louis Garneau, the company’s president and founder.

“I have been an admirer of Louis Garneau since I began cycling. A Garneau helmet saved me from a nasty fall as a new racer and I have been an appreciative fan ever since. I am excited to join the Garneau team and will lend my passion and commitment to this authentic brand and the talented group of people who deliver such innovative, high-quality and great-wearing products,” said Sakalowsky.
