COSTA MESA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The National Bicycle Dealers Association recently welcomed new retailers to its board of directors. The seven dealers will serve two-year terms and include three returning directors, four first-timers and one advisor.
New directors are Erik Kugler of Bicycle Space in Washington, D.C.; Kent Cranford of Motion Makers Bicycle Shop in Sylva, North Carolina; Phil Cohen of Chain Reaction Bicycles in Evans, Georgia; and Robert Fullem of The Downtube Bicycle Works in Albany, New York.
Roger Frey of Earl’s Cyclery & Fitness in Burlington, Vermont, was appointed as an advisor.
Retailers who were re-elected were Chris Kegel of Wheel and Sprocket in Hales Corner, Wisconsin; Mary Ann Cash of Cooper’s Bicycle Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Mike Jacoubowsky of Chain Reaction Bicycles in Redwood City, California.
Rounding out the board are its president James Moore of Moore’s Bicycle Shop in Hattiesburg, Mississippi; first vice president Jim Carveth of Bike Rack in Lincoln, Nebraska; second vice president Jeff Koenig of Big Poppi Bikes in Manhattan, Kansas; treasurer Jeff Selzer of Palo Alto Bicycles in Palo Alto, California; Brandee Lepak of Global Bikes in Gilbert, Arizona; Ken Bradford of Ken’s Bike-Ski-Board in Davis, California; and Fred Zapalac of Blue Line Bike Lab in Houston, Texas.
The new directors began their two-year terms Sept. 9. They were elected by the NBDA dealer members.
