Sampson produces USA Pro Challenge products • Lambert to carry Catlike helmets • Lezyne adds to R&D team
DENVER, CO (BRAIN) Monday August 6 2012 10:07 AM MT—Sampson Sports is producing several limited edition souvenir bike products for this month's USA Pro Cycling Challenge stage race in Colorado.
The company, based in Denver, will make USA Pro Challenge bar tape and water bottle cages. The tape is based on Sampson's popular Fat Wrap tape and the cages are based on the Sampson 44 gram nylon E-Z Cage. Each product has special packaging based on the race's checkerboard leader's jersey design.
Sampson is increasingly taking orders for customized products, including a special SRAM road bike being used by SRAM's regional sales staff.

Catlike is headquartered in Yecla, in southern Spain. The brand is distributed in more than 50 countries and sponsors top professional teams such as Movistar Team and the Exergy-TWENTY12 team.

Cooke's previous work experience includes doing R&D in the aerospace industry for NASA and the Orbital Launch Systems, designing camera systems for movie director James Cameron, as well as serving as a Mecatronics and Robotics Design lecturer for six years at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

Lezyne adds to USA R&D staff
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (BRAIN) Monday August 6 2012 10:16 AM MT—Lezyne has hired Terry Cooke for its USA R&D team in San Luis Obipso. Cooke will specialize in LED electronics engineering and programming.
