BERKELEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — The National Interscholastic Cycling Association is running a video contest for teams in its Spring League: NorCal, SoCal, Texas, New York and Alabama.
Teams in those leagues are invited to create a video that displays how their team practices NICA's "Five Core Principles:" Inclusivity, Equality, Strong Body, Strong Mind and Strong Character. The contest is called the NICA Dream Team Contest.
NICA supporters Feedback Sports, Primal Wear, Athletic Event Supply, and Optic Nerve — all companies in the Rocky Mountain region — are offering prizes that include event bicycle storage frames, a workstand, clothing, protective eyewear, event supplies and more – a package valued at $4,465.
Deadline for video submissions is March 31. NICA will hold a similar contest in the fall for its Fall League teams.
