KEMPELE, Finland (BRAIN) — Polar has launched the new M450 bike computer featuring GPS, altitude, heart rate and integrated LED light.
Riders can enter training background and personal metrics and the unit will provide personal training guidance. The computer offers customizable views on the display. It’s compatible with Polar’s Bluetooth Smart sensors including H7 for heart rate, speed and cadence sensors, and Polar’s Keo Power pedal.
The M450 has GPS and built-in barometer for accuracy with minimal power consumption. Its Back-to-Start feature guides riders home after a long ride. And the Smart Coaching feature provides training guidance, including detailed analysis of training load and recovery time, through the Polar Flow web service, an online training tool for coaches and personal trainers.
The M450 will offer Strava integration/connectivity by October. It becomes available in the third quarter, in white, at a suggested retail price of $189.95, and $219.95 with Polar H7 heart rate sensor. It will also have changeable accessory covers in black, yellow and red.
