SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — IBD Summit pre-registration and retail attendance is up compared to the event’s three previous editions, according to conference organizer Interbike.
Sponsorship opportunities are close to being sold out and supplier attendance is also up from previous years. Twenty-four companies are sponsoring the three-day event, which is set for Jan. 27-29 in Tempe, Ariz. Among the companies who have signed on as sponsors are QBP, Specialized, Trek, Cannondale, Pivot, Accell Group, BRG Sports, Garmin and Kryptonite.
More than 45 retail stores have registered, and Interbike estimates that it will draw between 70 to 75 retailers.
“I think that the importance of our agenda along with the new dates and location have made a significant impact on participation,” said Pat Hus, vice president of Interbike. “It’s become very clear that leaders from both the supply side and retail side of our business are genuinely interested in the long term health of our industry, and are interested in change. This will be at the core of what we will be talking about at this year’s event.
“Retailers, distributors and manufacturers who want to participate in this landmark event should sign up soon as we’re nearing capacity on our hotel block and flights are only getting more expensive,” he added.
The 4th edition of the IBD Summit is presented by PeopleForBIkes, the NBDA and Interbike and will be held at the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at The Buttes hotel.
