NEW YORK (BRAIN) — Signature Cycles' owner Paul Levine recently collaborated with the Movado Group, the parent company of luxury watch brand Movado, to host a fundraising event to benefit World Bicycle Relief.

"Last year was the first year, and we raised $75,000," Levine said. "This year, I set a goal of $100,000. I am thrilled to report that we raised $107,000."

About 80 people attended the event, which was held at the Movado Group headquarters on Nov. 12. Levine procured about $30,000 worth of donations for a silent auction and raffle, including a custom Parlee/Movado bicycle, a limited-edition Movado carbon watch, and a cycling camp in Mallorca, Spain.

Levine owns three Signature Cycles stores, with locations in Manhattan, Central Valley and Greenwich, Connecticut.
