APTOS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Chainring specialist Praxis is now offering mountain bike rings with a wide/narrow tooth profile for chain retention. The rings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard anodized to take a beating.
The rings are designed for four-arm, 104mm bolt circle cranks and are available in 32, 34, 36, and 38-tooth sizes. Compatible with 10-speed Shimano, KMC, or SRAM chains and 11-speed SRAM XX1 chains.
The rings must be used with mid or long cage clutch-type rear derailleur. For very rough terrain, Praxis still recommends use of an upper chain guide.
