OLNEY, IL (BRAIN) Thursday July 5 2012 7:31 AM MT—Magura Direct has aken over U.S. distribution of the Vredestein tire brand. That brand's U.S. distribution has been up in the air since Hugh Walton left the brand's former distributor Move Sport to join Mavic, Inc. earlier this year.
Walton had been Vredestein's U.S. and Canada brand manager for about a year; the tires were distributed by Boulder, Colorado-based Move Sport, which is owned by Walton's wife, Susan Walton.
"We'd really like to thank the folks at Move Sport for working hard to make this a seamless transition," said Jeff Enlow, Magura Direct's general manager.
